 Post subject: First SRX400 in 1983?

Hi everyone,
I've been searching the net on some history of the srx400 and only seem to find info on the bike being launched in 1985/86.
I have a 1JL srx400 that was built in 1983.
Was this in fact the first year of the Japanese built 400's??
