Hi everyone,

Does anyone have one for sale or knows where I can get one?
If so please let me know otherwise I can't ride my bike anymore :(

Cheers

They seem to come up a bit on Ebay, I think the 600cc model is the same tank, can anyone confirm ? I would suggest that if you do find one, you seal the inside of the tank before fitting it though, my bike gave me a spot of bother before I Petsealed it, thats two posts Ive responded to now mentioning Pesteal, I should be on commission ! Good luck.

Can practicaly gaurantee the tanks the same as the srx6, just make sure its the right model, i believe the tanks different for the monoshock srx. Petseal may be a good idea, but remove rust 1st.

Hi Ana,
The part numbers are exactly the same for 400 and 600, so you can definately use either tank off the twinshock models. The later Monoshocks are a different shape.

You do realise you can still get the tanks NEW from Yamaha if you can afford one!! (cost new over £500!!!!!)

Ian

PS I bought a very good second hand one from D & K for £75 + VAT last October. Had one dent in it but it was solid with no rust.
