Well what can I say, she was beautiful...

just seeing her sitting there, peacefully, her wheels shining, her headlight looking me.. I couldn't resist.

Keys in. turn right "click-click". push button. she comes to life.

swing leg over.kick stand up. clutch in. left foot on peg. push down. first. clutch out slowly. twist wrist gently. motion.

bring it up revs, listen for single starting low pitched grumble, clutch in, shut gas, click up, clutch out, gas on. pure bliss.

sweep left, slow down, flick right, pick up, twist wrist. sheer melancholy.

turn round. head back. get off bike, helmet off, big grin, hand over cash, sign v5.

trying to find words to make my story better, i just can't....

i had R8000 <~800 pounds>.....she cost R8000......I looked at the picture supplied by the importer....she seemed ok......i paid the R8000..she took 5 months to arrive from Japan.....She needed a bit of a service, some new tyres 'n fork seals and a good carb clean to get her in running condition....i found more money!!! <lol>.....I've ridden her to work a lot....she's tried her best....she needs TLC....i'm giving it to her...she blew her left fork seal....i tended to her injury......but most of all...she gets me to work with a smile on my face......

I'll be getting another mistress soon....but i'll definately keep my little yammie SRX400..she's been my first..and I won't forget her

If it looks like a good'un, sounds like a good'un and goes like a good'un then its probably a good'un. It went, sounded and looked like a good'un so I gave the nice man at Bonanza bikes in Croydon £1200 and never regretted it.
